Conference Grounds Fun

We spent another week at the Conference Grounds near Grand Haven, MI.  We have been going here every year since Emily has been born...except maybe one!
We all love it and come away feeling very refreshed, ready to back to our home and live out our faith!  The kids enjoy doing all the activities, spending time with grandparents/aunts and uncles/cousins, and seeing/making new friends.  We had great weather and spent the whole week outside.  Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Mulder for getting our site and reserving back in January!

Pancake breakfast after mile and half run.  Emily's birthday started out with a run and time with cousins!

This is what our meals would look like...lots of food and the kids are getting bigger :)

The kids love just spending time in the hammocks.

Uncle Ron paid everyone 2$ if they went in the cold water.  They all did it...except Hayes.

We picked 40 pounds of blueberries!

Ron's sister let us borrow their tent trailer, what a treat!!

Hayes ran at least a mile of the race.  He was super determined and got a ribbon and double scoop ice cream for being the youngest runner.

Time with Zoe is always fun.

Happy Birthday to Emily, Andrea, Aunt Beth, and Grandpa!

Megan loved making new friends

All ready for Bible School

Blueberry fun.  They definitely ate a ton while picking.  How many blueberries can you fit in your mouth?  I heard one of them say 40...?!

My sister has picked a lot but it was Robyn's first time picking :)

Time for the annual wagon ride.

We enjoyed lots of campfires

Happy 11th Emily!

We had a great time celebrating Emily's birthday. She anticipates it and plans all summer :)  (Definitely a first born)  We took a few girls to Foxbrook park and went swimming.  It was perfect!
We headed back home and a few more joined for balloons and cake.  Emily had a great time and has such kind friends.  I am so thankful!  We also celebrated on the actual day while camping at the Conference Grounds.  Emily ran a 1.5 mile race and celebrated with family/cousins.  We love her and are blessed to be her parents.  Emily has a big heart and is also a huge helper around the house.  We pray for her as she enters middle school...to be a strong Christian leader, to be confident and to let her light shine.

Mulders come to visit

We loved having my brother and his family stop by for 24 hours on their way back to Colorado.  It was so fun spending time together and also showing them where we live.  We enjoyed showing them our school as well.  It was David's birthday and Emily had fun making David a cake.  The boys were fighting off some sort of sickness but were troopers!  It was fun to get to know the little ones a bit better, as we don't see each other very much!

Hayes didn't feel like sharing. Thankfully Josh was a trooper and put up with him.

Off to hunt frogs.

We didn't find any and got stuck in a downpour, but it was fun!

Oh, maybe we caught one!

Spike ball enjoyed by all!

Linnea looks pretty serious :)

Just relaxing.

A run to the quarry with my boys...beautiful!

My morning runs during the summer have been giving me sanity and also reminding me of how much I enjoy living in this beautiful state.  Summers are gorgeous!  I love it when one of the kids decides to bike along as well. They usually try to talk to me, but I can't talk to them as I am completely out of breath.

Free Food on Cow day at Chick Fil a :)

4th of July Fun

We had a great time with Kevin's cousin Matt and his family this past 4th of July.  We are so glad that they come up to visit Grandparents every summer.  We enjoyed a night out on the boat.  The boys tried tubing for the first time and loved it.  After coming home, I started to think about the history we have with Matt and Kristi and its pretty special!  We were all friends, went on trips together, watched each other date/get married/have kids and now are making new memories together with our families.  We are so thankful!

These two have been friends since they were born :)

We squeezed in a lemonade stand and the kids moved their location...upped their sales and made 29 dollars :)  We even squeezed in fireworks with friends down in Milwaukee and then Fireworks on the 4th with Family :)

Spike ball with 2nd cousins :)

Lots of cornhole

These were in high demand and loved by all!

Tubing fun

We tried to take a selfie...Mia took up the screen :)

Love these times together!
